SouthernLINC Signs Nationwide Roaming Deal with Sprint

New SouthernLINC mapRegional iDEN carrier SoutherLINC has announced via press release that it has announced a nationwide data roaming deal with Sprint, which will enable the Alabama based carrier to offer nationwide data access for its customers. This follows its previous nationwide roaming deal signed last month with the Kansas-based carrier. As a result SouthernLINC is now offering six new service plans under the So Easy branding with nationwide voice and data roaming included at no additional charge.
What remains to be seen is the length of the agreement, as Sprint has confirmed that it will sunset the iDEN network by 2013 and move current iDEN customers to CDMA via Sprint Direct Connect handsets to be released this year.
